Mgnergy Animation

Dyaco Inc.’s deep sea magnesium water contains all the magnesium a person needs each day. When there is not enough magnesium in your diet, Mgnergy can be used to maintain your body’s health. This time, DC used lively 2D animation to simplify the complexity of the information so that the audience would maintain interest and find the information easy to understand.

Idea

Understanding the product is the most important step before writing the script, and the main goal of this project was to communicate complex information in a simple way that would easy for the audience to understand. By allowing them to understand the importance of magnesium ions, consumers would then learn about or even buy the client’s product, deep-sea magnesium water.

Process

In the beginning of the project, we referenced many Infographic animations, and finally concluded that “simple colors and shapes can enable us to clearly communicate with the viewer without losing focus,” allowing us to further determine the artistic settings.

The film was based on “symptoms arising from the lack of intake,” because anxiety, muscle irritation, loss of appetite and insomnia are common problems now. When the audience becomes interested in the film because they themselves or their friends or relatives have the above symptoms, we then start to explain the functions and sources of magnesium ions, which leads to the Mgnergy product.

The narration uses a relaxed, conversation-like tone so that the introductory film is not boring, and instead fun and interesting.

Result

In fact, the key to good animation is not just how fine or attractive the pictures are. It is whether it achieves its original purpose. The goal of the Mgnergy film is to let consumers have a preliminary understanding of magnesium ions and the Mgnergy product.
