Ways to use low-end cameras

Definition of low-end cameras

First of all, I wanted to clarify that the image quality of low-end cameras is not necessarily lower, and the categorization is from a professional point of view. So-called professional photographic equipment has a lot of interfaces to install accessories to assist in shooting. But small cameras and mobile phones cannot include all the interfaces due to their product positioning, so no matter how good the picture quality is, they are defined as low-end cameras.

Easy To Use

The so-called low-end camera is divided into mobile phones and general DCs (fixed lens), basically they are very simple tools to obtain and start out with due to product positioning; that is, you can immediately start photographing. Such as with phones, you can download many apps to make your photographs or videos more appealing. These settings greatly reduce the threshold for filming and photography, and everyone can be a photographer.

The habit of shooting anytime and anywhere

Since when did we become tied to our mobile phones, the popularity of smart phones has quickly changed our everyday habits. Among them, the amount of photography and videos has exploded. Regardless of image quality, the video content is extremely diverse, and photography in daily life allows what we share to become more interesting. Mobile phones usually cannot be used in dark locations because their sensors are small, and it is hard to avoid noise, so most are best used under the sun. Furthermore, they are not good for filming videos with quick movements, because the shutter and photosensitive element scanning, mobile phones all have serious rolling shutter effects. Currently, mobile phone businesses have launched slow motion functions that can solve this problem to a certain extent. Another weakness of mobile phone cameras is there is no way to change the lens, so manufacturers have started to sell packages allowing you to change different focal lengths for phones. Although, the quality is lower, it is a possible solution.

Balance of convenience and quality

A few years ago, small cameras were replaced by mobile phones, because of high repeatability, but this year, small cameras have found new positioning. The relative degree of quality and convenient size, small cameras are still considered necessary, and provide an intermediate choice. The shooting quality of small cameras is almost equivalent to former DVs, so they are able to adequately film daily records or stories. Especially some more high-class cameras like the SONY RX1, the quality is just as good as the DSLR, and convenience is the greatest advantage. The photographer must have some essential photography knowledge for it to have the best filming quality. The shortcomings of small cameras are there are still the sun and rolling shutter effect, although they are convenient, they still lack expandable interfaces and are less flexible. However, for general users the quality and convenience is adequate.

Start photographing!

No matter what equipment you use, as long as you understand the functions of your own equipment, coupled with enough light, everyone can produce good picture quality. Thus, don’t focus on too many details, keep taking pictures and correct your mistakes. Apple commercials are all shot with the iPhone. Although it is more complicated when using the equipment for professional purposes, but do not underestimate the power of the machine at hand!

Even Apple ads are all shot by iPhones, what excuse do we have? Just do it!!!!!
