Zenlet Lift Product fundraising film ZENLET was awarded a red dot design award for its mobile wallet in the past, and lately they have launched a beautiful and practical laptop protection device LIFT. DC’s first fundraising film was for this product. The film has basically been divided into two parts. The first half displays the product image and product usage scenarios. The second half is the fundraising film that lets viewers understand the product’s design and concepts. The client wanted the film to be memorable and practical. Idea The client hoped that we could start by introducing the product in the film, so in the first half, we decided to shoot three users of different nationalities and styles using the product. Through a clever arrangement, we connected the three users to add fluency and allow people to understand that any kind of user can use LIFT. The second half of the film was mainly shot at the client’s company to show the product’s design process and to show off their team’s creativity. Process Because the film included many venues, the planning before the shoot and efficiency on the day of the shoot were very important. The film used many long shots that increased the difficulty when shooting and many scenes were shot numerous times to get the perfect results. In addition, this was the first time DC used the Taipei MRT as a backdrop and we had to film quickly as not to affect passengers, which was a very interesting experience. Result Well-known website GIGadgets uploaded the film to its fan page, and it has currently been viewed by more than 223 million people, clicked like by more than 42,000 people, and has been shared by more than 21,000 people.
